Election day 2024 is under way across the U.S., and voters are heading to their polling sites to cast ballots in a number of races, including for hundreds of local and state races as well as president of the United States.
For the latter, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are neck and neck to be elected America's next Commander in Chief. Some 82 million ballots—more than half of 2020's total vote count—were cast early, according to the Associated Press.
