The Bulldogs outgained Vanderbilt, 552-219, but Georgia failed to convert on a few red zone opportunities and turned the ball over twice against Vanderbilt. Georgia quarterback Carson Beck threw a costly interception late in the game that gave Vanderbilt life.

The Georgia rushing attack and defense was quite effective. The Bulldogs ran for 291 rushing yards against Vanderbilt and allowed the Commodores to gain just 18 rushing yards.
Georgia’s impressive performance against Kentucky looks like a blip on the radar. Georgia has consistently started games slowly and has lacked an elite level of execution. The Bulldogs have a bye week ahead of the Oct. 28 game against Florida.
