The Boston Celtics came into their second tilt of a home-and-home series at TD Garden with the Orlando Magic on Sunday afternoon feeling pretty good about themselves after having beaten the Magic down three of their best big men in their prior meeting.
And for good reason, with Boston weathering a brutal onslaught in the tilt’s first half to come away with a 114-97 win after breaking the game open late in the first half. Holding the Magic to just 38.2% from the field and just 30.6% from 3, the Celtics also won the rebounding battle by 12 boards and blocked 6 more shot attempts than Orlando.
