The Boston Celtics made the trip to Indianapolis’ Gainbridge Fieldhouse to face the Indiana Pacers for their first tilt since the Pacers eliminated the Celtics from the in-season tournament, and left the court with a 118-101 victory with a dash of revenge on the side.
While fans were likely focused on the unusual foul disparity that did not see the Celtics shoot from the charity stripe until late in the game’s third quarter, Boston logged another wire-to-wire win that saw them crush Indiana on the boards 57-38 while holding the Pacers to just 19.0% from beyond the arc.
