The Oklahoma City Thunder utilized a strong final frame to collect a 107-83 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday. The win extended OKC’s winning streak to five.
After it was a close contest for the first three quarters, the Thunder outscored the Pelicans, 30-19, in the final frame to turn this into a blowout win.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 31 points and five assists. Jalen Williams scored nine of his 15 points in the fourth quarter. Chet Holmgren had a 20-point and 13-rebound double-double.
Meanwhile, the Pelicans — who were without Zion Williamson — failed to have a 15-plus-point scorer. Brandon Ingram was limited to 12 points and nine assists.
