A year after making its debut, the LIV Golf League is back in London for its ninth event of the season at the Centurion Golf Club.
Last time around, Charl Schwartzel claimed the title at the circuit’s inaugural event.
On Saturday, Cameron Smith increased his lead, shooting 4-under 67 and moving to 12 under for the tournament, three shots clear of Thomas Pieters and Ripper GC teammate Mark Leishman.
Smith bogeyed two of his first four holes with a birdie in between, then he birdied five holes over his final 13 to finish the day.
On the team side, Ripper GC (23 under) remains in front but only by one shot over Stinger GC (22 under). Stinger GC swept the podium at Centurion Club last year. 4Aces GC (19 under) moved into third.
