Pimblett and McCann, who both train out of Next Generation MMA in Liverpool, rose to stardom in the UFC over the past year. McCann has won three of her past four – including back-to-back, performance-winning spinning back elbow knockouts in London.
Pimblett also competed at UFC Fight Night 204 and UFC Fight Night 208 in London alongside McCann, also receiving bonuses for two submission finishes. “The Baddy” is unbeaten in the UFC, most recently edging out Jared Gordon at UFC 282 in December.
