The Phoenix Police Department's 911 call center is now operational after experiencing a widespread outage that began last night. The department announced that 'systems have been restored' in an update provided on Friday.

During the outage, individuals seeking non-emergency police assistance were advised to be patient as the department worked through the backlog of calls. The department assured the public that efforts were being made to address all outstanding requests for assistance.
