The Phoenix Park and Dublin Zoo are set to close to the public later this week as US President Joe Biden visits the capital.
The closure for the park will begin at 5pm on Wednesday and continue for 24 hours until 5pm on Thursday. The zoo will shut until 9.30am on Friday.
The park is used by many not only for use but travelling through on popular commuter routes. As a result there will be traffic disruption for those who would travel through the park regularly.

President Biden will be visiting Ireland's President Michael D Higgins at Aras an Uachtarain during his time here. Essential staff for the care of animals will be permitted into the zoo during the once off closure.
In a statement on its website Dublin Zoo said: "Due to President Biden’s visit to the Park, Dublin Zoo will now be closed on Thursday 13th April at the request of An Garda Síochána and there is a possibility of a late opening on Friday 14th April. Please keep an eye on our website and social media for further updates. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."
The OPW told The Irish Times that all park gates and roads will reopen "as soon as it is safe to do so". They apologised for any inconvenience this will cause for the public.
