Phoebe Dynevor's wedding dress was kept secret from even some of her closest family and friends, but the details of the Louis Vuitton creation have now been revealed. The Bridgerton actor wore a custom gown designed by Louis Vuitton's artistic director of womenswear, Nicolas Ghesquière, for her September wedding to actor Cameron Fuller.
Dynevor and Fuller reportedly married on September 5, 2026, at an 18th-century chateau in France's Provence region. Dynevor confirmed the marriage on September 17 by sharing wedding photographs, while British Vogue subsequently detailed the design process behind her bridal look.
Nicolas Ghesquière Designed the Custom Louis Vuitton Gown
According to British Vogue, Dynevor worked closely with Ghesquière and her stylist, Emma Morrison, to develop the dress. The process involved approximately 20 drawings being sent back and forth between Ghesquière's team and Dynevor before the final design was settled.
The finished gown took approximately 600 hours to perfect. British Vogue described it as a lace-trimmed, strapless gown with a trailing neck scarf and a cathedral-length silk veil, while a subsequent Harper's Bazaar report identified the gown as featuring lace and sequin trim and a sweetheart neckline.

The veil continued the dress's lace detailing, with British Vogue reporting that a wide lace border was enhanced with delicate sequin embroidery. The combination gave the custom look considerable handcrafted detail while retaining the relatively simple silhouette that Dynevor had originally wanted.
The design process was collaborative rather than entirely directed by Ghesquière. Dynevor told British Vogue that she was initially unsure how much creative control the designer wanted, but became excited after realizing the gown would be developed collaboratively.
With Morrison's help, Dynevor and the Louis Vuitton team also looked through Ghesquière's archive for references that reflected the bride's preference for something "flowy" and "effortless." When she received the final sketch, Dynevor told the magazine, "I was thrilled," adding that it was everything she wanted without initially knowing exactly what she wanted.
The Dress Was Kept Secret Until the Wedding
The secrecy surrounding the gown was intentional. In British Vogue's September 17 report, published after the ceremony but based on preparations for the wedding, Dynevor explained that her mother and best friends had not seen the dress ahead of the event.
The actor also said that having only herself and Morrison involved in the decision-making process made the experience unusual. "It's really fun to have a secret that no one knows," she told British Vogue.
Dynevor's original direction was for the wedding gown to be "as simple as possible," but the final version incorporated more lace after discussions with Ghesquière and Morrison. The result remained relatively restrained in silhouette while adding intricate lace and sequin details to the gown and veil.
The Louis Vuitton atelier also created Dynevor's bridal heels. The actor described the shoes as "thankfully comfy," according to British Vogue.
A Second Louis Vuitton Wedding Look
Dynevor also had a second Louis Vuitton dress for the celebrations. The champagne-colored, backless design was inspired by the 1990s slip dresses associated with Kate Moss, a decade Dynevor said she has always been drawn to.
Unlike the elaborate lace detailing of the wedding gown, the second dress was intentionally pared back. Dynevor told British Vogue that after trying it on, she was unsure which of the two dresses she preferred.
The wedding marked a highly private milestone for Dynevor and Fuller, who have generally kept their relationship away from extensive public attention. Their marriage was confirmed publicly on September 17, when Dynevor shared photographs from the Provence celebration and captioned them, "Married my best friend."
