A huge array of celebrities came together to celebrate the 50th birthday of Leigh Francis (Keith Lemon) over the weekend. Amongst the likes of Holly Willoughby, Emily Atack and Emma Bunton was This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield, 61, who donned a red suit and moustache as Ron Burgundy from the Anchorman films.
Sharing a photo of himself to his Instagram Stories, Phillip wrote: “Stay classy San Diego” - a nod to Burgundy’s catchphrase. In a pure coincidence (or so we think), another celebrity was dressed as the exact same character for the star-studded celebration.
Much like Phillip, The Masked Singer host Joel Dommett - who you can read more about here - also went as Ron Burgundy. Phillip posted a photo of him and Joel, 37, to his Instagram Stories and joked: “2 glasses of Burgundy please.”

The pair’s matching outfits comes following rumours that Joel is set to replace Phillip on This Morning. Last month Joel appeared alongside Holly Willoughby while Phillip was on holiday and was a huge hit with viewers of the ITV show.
Following his two-episode stint, people shared their hopes that Joel would join the line up full-time. One person wrote on social media at the time: “Petition to get @joeldommett a permanent spot on #thismorning - I've not laughed like this at This Morning in a long time!”
