Phillies SS Bryson Stott got a 2-run double thanks to one of the most bizarre bounces of the MLB season

The box score will not reflect the reality of what Bryson Stott did on Monday night in the Philadelphia Phillies’ 6-4 win over the Atlanta Braves.

It went as: “Stott doubled to shallow right, Bohm and Castellanos scored.”

Here’s how I’d described it: Stott hit a blooper right to first base that would have been easily handled for an out … but the ball took the wildest right turn of a hop past Matt Olson for the luckiest and weirdest double ever.
