AS Monaco boss Philippe Clement has reportedly become the latest candidate to reject advances from Leeds United over the possibility of replacing Jesse Marsch.
That is according to Dutch outlet De Telegraph (via FNF), who claim that Clement has his sights set on helping Monaco progress in the UEFA Europa League.
Clement replaced Niko Kovac as Monaco manager in January 2022 and is contracted to Les Monegasques until 2024. Monaco are also in a strong position to secure Champions League qualification for next season with four wins from their last five games propelling them into third-place in Ligue 1.
Leeds have had great difficulty appointing Marsch's successor, and Michael Skubala is set to take charge of his third game as caretaker manager when the Whites travel to Goodison Park to face Everton on Saturday.
