Philipp Max profiled as Leeds United reportedly submit bid for 'dangerous' PSV left back

Leeds United have reportedly submitted a bid of around £7 million for PSV Eindhoven defender Philipp Max, according to Tuttomercatoweb. They claim that the Whites have stepped up their search for a left-back and have earmarked Max as a potential target.

With just 10 days until the start of the new Premier League season, Jesse Marsch currently has no fit recognised left-backs in his squad. Junior Firpo is continuing his recovery from a knee injury he picked up in the friendly against Blackpool earlier this month, while Leif Davis made the permanent switch to Ipswich Town on Monday.

The likes of Jack Harrison, Pascal Struijk and Leo Hjelde were all tried their during the tour of Australia, though their best positions lay elsewhere. So with that in mind, here is everything you need to know on Leeds’ potential left-back target Max.
