Philadelphia police thought they were only responding to an illegally parked BMW. Instead, they found fake IDs, drugs, and five potentially dead women

Philadelphia police have uncovered a massive, disturbing digital cache that has transformed a traffic stop into a sprawling investigation involving five potentially missing and feared dead women. Per CNN, the case began when they were called to check a BMW that was parked in a space reserved for law enforcement. A single statement from the woman passenger has led to an intense search for answers at 44-year-old Eugene Horsch’s Olney home.

During that initial encounter, investigators found guns, drugs, weapons, and a fake Drug Enforcement Administration ID featuring Horsch’s photo, even though he never worked for the agency. Police also discovered the woman in the car was carrying an ID that bore her own photo but used the name of a missing woman, Blair Tonzelli. According to FOX 29, the investigation led authorities to the driver, 44-year-old Eugene Horsch’s Olney home.
