Phil Mickelson says 'every top 100 player' has been asked to play in Saudi golf super league

The organisers behind a new Saudi-backed golf super league have approached most of the top players in the world, according to Phil Mickelson.

The Saudis are ploughing huge sums of money into the sport, with around £300m injected into the Asian Tour to create a new series fronted by golfing legend Greg Norman.

Norman has said that investment is "just the beginning", and the former world number one has been tipped to be the commissioner of the new super league.
