Phil Foden could be out for up to a month after undergoing surgery to remove his appendix.
Manchester City star Foden, 22, suffered a bout of appendicitis which has ruled him out of the Wembley game having already gone under the knife. It will also be a worry for City’s title run-in and also the Champions League games with Bayern Munich their next opponents in Europe.
Foden is a key player for City and to lose him for any period of time would be a massive blow for Pep Guardiola and it is believed he has already undergone surgery. Foden was hoping to be involved having trained in the build-up but felt unwell and has had to miss the qualifier.
