Virzi claimed that Leon fell from his bouncer chair while she briefly left to get a bottle. However, medical examinations revealed severe injuries, including a skull fracture and brain bleeds consistent with child abuse.
Virzi, 29, was arrested and charged with homicide, aggravated assault, and child endangerment. Despite pleading not guilty, she remains in custody in Pennsylvania.
