Peyton Manning made a name in the sports world as an NFL quarterback. He led a Hall of Fame carer with the Indianapolis Colts from 1998-2011, then further cemented it during his time as the Denver Broncos quarterback from 2012-2015. \
Although he ended his career as a two-time Super Bowl champion and a five-time NFL MVP, Manning has showcased over the past few years that he still needs to finish becoming a household name.
Manning most recently became nominated for a Sports Emmy Award due to his work on ESPN’s ManningCast for Monday Night Football. Manning, who hosts the show with his younger brother Eli, will have a chance to receive the Emmy Award in the Personality/Event Analyst category. Eli was nominated, too, for Personality/Emerging On-Air Talent (ManningCast) and Hosted Edited Series (Eli’s Places.)
Manning turned his signature audible (“Omaha“) into his own production company (Omaha Productions,) which also produces the ManningCast. Best of luck to Peyton on his nomination.
