The New York Jets beat the Buffalo Bills in thrilling fashion Monday with a 65-yard walk-off punt return in overtime by undrafted rookie Xavier Gipson that sent MetLife Stadium into hysterics.
You know who didn’t seem all that thrilled by that incredible ending? Peyton Manning and Eli Manning, who were doing the season’s first ManningCast on ESPN2.
It was a long night of football, with the biggest story happening just four snaps into the game when Aaron Rodgers left with an ankle injury that might be very serious. So maybe the Manning brothers were a bit tired, because this didn’t have any type of energy at all:

Their reaction earlier in the game to Rodgers’ injury was much better than that.
Fans had blasted their boring call of the winning TD:
Were they all asleep? That was the most boring call I’ve ever heard. https://t.co/9SOlxPS6Du

If you have less energy than Joe Buck, just retire. https://t.co/HMoHXTg46G

I'm glad I didn't watch the Manningcast tonight because it sounds like Peyton and Eli were reallyyyyy bummed the Jets won https://t.co/XCK54BMT94
