Record profits have been announced by Pets at Home as the retail giant promised to maintain its prices competitive despite cost pressures.
The Cheshire-headquartered company has achieved underlying pre-tax profits of £144.7m for the 12 months to March 31, 2022, a rise of 65.3%.
On a reported basis, its profits increased from £106.3m to £148.7m while its like-for-like sales rose by 15.8%.
