A Kidderminster motor enthusiast who kept his 1964 Mini in a garden shed for 34 years has seen it sold for a whopping £53,000 at auction.
The 86-year-old owner Elwyn Watkins had only paid £800 for the car, which equates to roughly £16,000 today.
He celebrated the hammer going down with his brother Julian Watkins with a strong cup of tea at his Worcestershire home.
