Fans have joked This Morning presenters Phil and Holly would have "had no issue" jumping the queue to get tickets for Pete Kay's UK tour. Tickets for the general sale went live today (November 12) with thousands of people attempting to book through Ticketmaster.
Earlier this month, Peter Kay announced his return to stand-up comedy after a 12-year hiatus. The tour will start in Manchester this December and end in Nottingham on July 15, 2023 - and many people would have attempted to snag a seat this morning.
Lots of people have shared their frustrations over the long queues on Ticketmaster to secure a ticket. Many jokingly suggested that Phil, 60, and Holy, 41, would have had no issues "jumping the queue" for a seat on the comedy tour.

The ITV presenters were enveloped in a scandal in September after they were falsely accused of jumping the queue to see the late Queen's coffin. Despite being at the Queen Lying in State for work purposes - where journalists were permitted to report on the queue - the pair were met with a barrage of online abuse and outrage from their chat show audience.
At the time, Holly and Phillip addressed the backlash they faced during an episode of This Morning, as they insisted they would "never jump a queue". Some people even started speculating that Holly was in "crisis talks" over her job, though an ITV source has confirmed that the mum-of-three will not leave her post.
On Saturday, Twitter was flooded with comments from people attempting to score tickets to see the comedian's first live tour in years. Many of them joked that Phil and Holly would "have had no issues" getting a seat to see Pete Kay.

Others shared frustration with Ticketmaster at not getting through the digital queue, with some people reportedly waiting more than an hour to be total tickets were unavailable. Tickets reportedly sold out in 90 minutes and are already appearing on third-party sites for more than ten times the original price.
Fans have shared their disgust over the resale prices, which are unaffiliated with the original ticket vendors. Pete Kay has been praised for not inflating ticket prices amid the cost of living crisis, charging £35 per ticket, the same price he offered in 2010.
Peter’s last tour in 2010 still officially ranks with the Guinness Book of World Records as the biggest-selling comedy tour of all time, playing to over 1.2 million people.
