Peter Kay has announced his return to stand-up comedy with his first live tour in 12 years - and he will be coming to Wales. The much-loved comedian announced the news via adverts I’m A Celebrity. Tickets go on sale on Saturday, November 12 via See Tickets and Ticketmaster. Read more about how to get tickets here.
He said: “It’s good to get back to what I love doing best, stand-up comedy and if there’s ever a time people need a laugh it’s now. And with the cost of living at an all-time high, ticket prices are starting from £35. The same price they were on my previous tour in 2010.”
News of the tour was met with such excitement that the comedian's website crashed within minutes of the announcement. Peter will begin his tour on December 2. In 2018 Peter cancelled an upcoming sell-out 100 gig nationwide tour.

At the time he said: “Due to unforeseen family circumstances I deeply regret I am having to cancel all of my upcoming work projects. My sincerest apologies. This decision has not been taken lightly and I’m sure you’ll understand my family must always come first.”
Last year Peter appeared at two charity Q&A shows in Manchester for brain cancer patient Laura Nuttall.
Peter’s 2010 tour still officially ranks with the Guinness Book of World Records as the biggest selling comedy tour of all time, with him playing to over 1.2 million people.
