Peter Hook has said Joy Division’s place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is “for Ian Curtis,” dedicating the honour to the band’s late frontman as he confirmed he will attend this year’s ceremony.
The 70-year-old bassist shared a video message on Instagram wearing an Oasis T‑shirt — the Britpop group are also being inducted — and thanked fans for helping secure the long‑awaited recognition.
