Peter Haring says Hearts can head into the Europa Conference League with confidence after a painful defeat to FC Zurich.
The Jambos dominated their Europa League play-off second leg against FC Zurich but succumbed 3-1 on aggregate to the Swiss champions after a 1-0 loss at Tynecastle. Robbie Neilson's side missed several chances and eventually saw the game slip away after Jorge Grant's red card, instead landing in the Europa Conference League.
There they will take on Istanbul Basaksehir, Fiorentina and RFS, with Haring saying Hearts have shown what they are capable of on the continental front: "It's a sore one. We deserved much more and I think as long as we had 11 men on the park, it was one of the best performances we have had. We dominated them in every aspect of the game. Then we have a guy sent off and then it totally changes the game.

"They have enough quality to keep the ball and make it hard for us and once we lost the goal, while we still tried, the game was more or less done.
"We created a lot of chances and I just thought at some point we would score. I was confident but the red card changed everything.
