Peter Farrelly, known for his work on Green Book and The Greatest Beer Run Ever, returns to his comedic roots with the film Ricky Stanicky. The movie, available for streaming on Prime, aims to capture the nostalgia of audiences familiar with the Farrelly brothers' brand of raunchy humor and slapstick comedy.
Ricky Stanicky follows the story of three friends who create an imaginary character, Ricky, to cover up their mischievous deeds over the years. The trio uses Ricky as an excuse to avoid responsibilities and indulge in recreational activities. However, their elaborate ruse is put to the test when one of the friends faces a family emergency.
