Peter Crouch is set to bare all into the highs and lows of life as a footballer and his relationship with Abbey Clancy in a brand new documentary.
The football fan favourite will star in ‘That Peter Crouch Film’, with a trailer teasing its release now out.
Documentary makers have described it as the “true story behind football’s most unlikely hero”, adding: “Belittled for his height and shunted from club to club, all logic suggests that he should not have had a successful career.
“The film explores the long, arduous journey to reach the top – filled with twists, stumbling blocks, self-doubt, and alienation.
“After nearly 25 years since signing his first professional contract, Peter Crouch has only one question to ask himself… how did he get here?”
Peter Crouch added: “When I was a teenager, or even a player, I’d have laughed you out of the room if you’d told me that I would have a film made about my career in football! But here we are and I’m so proud of what Workerbee and Prime Video have created. It’s an honour that this film has been made and hopefully it brings a smile to people’s faces.”

What is That Peter Crouch Film about?
The film is a one-off and is set to chart Peter Crouch’s journey from non-league club Dulwich Hamlet to the Premier League.
It will feature all of his thoughts and feelings on his life on and off the pitch, detailing his footballing moves, his World Cup appearances and even his favourite celebration - the robot.
The documentary will feature the lows Peter has faced in getting where he is today, and the trailer tells of the start of his career when he was ridiculed for his height and seen as a “freak”.
He said he has always wanted to be a footballer, ever since a small boy and added: “It was all I could think about.”
As well as the touching moments, there are also a lot of light-hearted laughs about his life at home, and tells the story of how he got with Abbey Clancy and how unlucky in love he was before he met the stunning Scouse model.
In the trailer, Peter Crouch jokes: “I couldn’t pull a hamstring until I was about 21!”
It will also feature former players joining in to talk about what the 6 foot 7 striker was like in the dressing rooms, including Steven Gerrard and Harry Redknapp.
In the trailer, Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard says: “There’s never a quiet moment when Peter is around.”
