Like many fashion houses, Lanvin's undergoing some changes. The brand just brought in Peter Copping as its new artistic director, leaving everyone waiting and wondering what'll be next for the label. Well, now we know. Lanvin is returning to Paris Fashion Week after a two-year break.
The runway show will happen in late January and that's not the only big news. The presentation will be coed, showcasing both the women's and men's Fall 2025 ready-to-wear collections. That ties into a trend of late where designers are opting to condense both womenswear and menswear into one exhibition. Fendi's going coed to mark its 100th anniversary, while Gucci is applying the suddenly fashionable format not only to its Fall 2025 offering, but also for Cruise 2026 and Spring 2026.
What separates Lanvin from the pack is that it'll serve as Copping's debut for the brand. (Sabato De Sarno already has a couple of Gucci collections under his belt and Fendi is still on the hunt for a creative director so Silvia Venturini Fendi is filling in.) We can't wait to see what Copping has in store.
