Peter Attia, Former CBS Contributor, Resigns After Being Named in Epstein Files, Admits Ties Began in 2014

Dr. Peter Attia, the physician and longevity expert, has stepped down from his role as a CBS News contributor after being named in Jeffrey Epstein's publicly released files. The resignation follows mounting scrutiny over email exchanges with Epstein, which Attia himself described as 'embarrassing, tasteless and indefensible.'

Attia confirmed in a detailed statement that his interactions with Epstein began in 2014, but denied any criminal involvement. He said his decision to step down was intended to prevent his presence from becoming a distraction amid widespread media scrutiny.
