Junior, whose mum is Katie Price, is set to follow in his famous dad’s footsteps with a career in the music business.
Last summer it was announced the 16-year-old had signed a megabucks recording deal with the same label that looks after Calvin Harris and Harry Styles.
The teenager has spent the last few months laying down tracks with producers at studios in London.
He was spotted filming the music video for his first single in the capital, which is thought to be called Just Two Drops.
It has yet to be released but it seems Junior could be giving a rap career a go – so will he end up being way cooler than his dad Pete?
Sharing his excitement at landing a record deal, Junior said: “Wow... where do I start. These past 6 months have been hectic. But I’ve loved every single second of it.
“My dad took me to the studio 6 months ago and got me in the booth at @rebelrecs. Since then I have been secretly working on a MASSIVE project and not long ago got a call saying @columbiauk want to sign me!
“I would just like to say thank you to the team @rebelrecs alongside my dad who have helped me develop into an artist.”
Proud dad Peter said he feels "very lucky" to be part of the process with his son and to "help in any way I can with his career," having started in the industry as a teenager himself.
Fans could even be treated to a father and son duet in the future – as Peter has said he wants to record a track with Junior.
He told OK! magazine: “[Junior’s] very secretive about his music, but it is unbelievable.”
The pop star admitted their styles are “completely different” but added: “He’ll appeal to a whole new generation and I’m more appealing to the older generation. We’ll do some stuff together too, but that’s for later rather than now.”
Peter has released 11 studio albums and 28 singles. He reached the Top Three six times, with Mysterious Girl, Flava, I Feel You, All About Us with Montell Jordan and Lil Bo Peep during the 1990s.
He unleashed Mysterious Girl again, followed by Insania and Behind Closed Doors in the Noughties.
