Peter Andre reveals which of his four children 'argue a lot' - and who has the worst moods

Peter Andre has revealed which of his four children “argue a lot” and who has the worst moods.

The Mysterious Girl singer, 49, is father to Junior, 17, and Princess, 15 who he shares with ex-wife Katie Price and Amelia, nine, and Theo, six, with his NHS doctor wife Emily MacDonagh .

Peter has lifted the lid on family life in a candid chat where he opened up on what it’s like to have a blended family and how he makes it work.

Offering his advice to fellow parents while on the Netmums Podcast today, the Australian-born singer revealed his secret to parenting his young children and his teenagers is “a good coffee machine ”.

Peter shared his pearls of wisdom and revealed that it’s not always plain sailing in their household.

He told how, for the most part, his children all get on, but that two of them are arguing “a lot” at the moment.

Asked whether his children get on, Peter revealed: “Princess and Millie are really close and Junior and Theo are really close but as a foursome they’re brilliant.

“The only times I notice it is when Junior and Princess used to argue a lot and they don’t know, they’re brilliant. But now Millie and Theo argue a lot.”

The host remarked: “That’s just siblings though isn’t it, everyone who’s got two children knows, there are times when they just wind each other up and there’s nothing you can do apart from make a cup of coffee and leave the room and let them get on with it.”

Peter agreed and told fans of his relaxing morning routine before his parenting duties and mediating between his two youngest children begins.

He explained: “I get up and I’m thinking, ‘I’ve got an hour’. I get up an hour before them, I go and have my coffee, I sit downstairs and I’m like ‘this is beautiful, this is peaceful’.

“And then I think ‘right, I’ll go get them now, I’m ready, I’ve had my coffee, I’ve had my water, I’m feeling rocking’.

“Hydrated, caffeinated, let’s go. Then I get them up and they start going ‘Millie said this through the night’ and ‘Theo did this’ and I need another coffee and then we can deal with this. And so it goes,” he laughed.

The doting dad also revealed which of his children has the worst moods.

Naming and shaming Princess, Peter laughed: “I’ve got a 15-year-old daughter and don’t I know it!”

But he went on to tell how he and his daughter laugh about her teenage strops.

“I actually quite like her moods because she makes me laugh with them and we end up laughing together when she gets in a mood,” he said.

“She does what I call rigor mortis when she starts going ‘argh’ and she’s stiff as a board. But we work through her moods and she’s such a nice girl.”

Peter then told how nine-year-old Amelia is following in Princess’ footsteps.

“And then we’ve got a nine-year-old who’s getting really cheeky and answering back and I’m like ‘Listen,’ and we have to kind of reign her in on that.”

He then touched on little Theo: “And then I’ve got a six-year-old who is like a big ball of fluff, and always laughing and smiling. And, actually, all of them I love equally and all of them are adorable.

The former I’m A Celebrity star also explained how he tried to bring his children up to be as respectful as possible.

“Honestly the difference that each child wants is unbelievable, the demands that each child has,” he began.

“Now, I hope that they’ve been brought up respectfully enough to not be too demanding and be a little bit independent.

“Junior is a great kid. He’s 17 and he’s a typical teenager but he’s very respectful.

“I’m like ‘Son, you need to help you with this. If you’re going to eat, you’ve got to go put your stuff in the dishwasher, because if you don’t, what’s going to happen is I’ll do it because I’m your dad, but when I’m not there and Emily walks passed, she’s going to end up doing it.

“’She’s got work, we’ve got work,’ and I talk to them like that and they get it. They don’t argue it. They kind of get the bits and they really are respectful.”
