Peter Andre admits it's "bittersweet" seeing his son, Junior, growing up just weeks after the teen celebrated turning 18.
The wannabe musician who Pete shares with former model Katie Price took to his social media channels to reveal he was flying out to Ibiza for his first holiday with his mates.
However, Pete, 50, says he has worries about his eldest off-springing becoming an adult due to the responsibilities he now faces and is legally classed as an adult.
Junior documented his trip to Ibiza on social media which included a visit to the infamous Ocean Beach club, owned by Wayne Lineker.
"I took him to the airport for his first-ever lads' holiday," said Pete before continuing: "It's a bittersweet time because I'm so proud of the man he's becoming, but it also means he's legally an adult."
Continuing in his OK! magazine column, Pete wrote: "And that means that although he's the man of the house when I'm not there, he can also go to clubs, he can drink…
"Do I need to go on? It's scary but I know I need to let go eventually as it's a natural part of life.
"Junior is so respectful and knows the rules we teach him. He should have fun – but I just hope he's sensible."
Last week, Peter took to Instagram to reveal he felt "sick" due to the worry of Junior heading out to the party Island to celebrate his birthday as well performing at Ibiza Rocks.
Sharing a video with his 1.8 million followers, the singer and television presenter said: "So I've just left the airport, Junior going off on holiday with his friends.
"He's 18, it was a great day today. We spent the day together with Princess and it was wonderful but taking him to the airport I was getting that sick sort of feeling in my gut.
"But I really want him to have fun and enjoy himself."
The dad-of-four continued: "It's hard because you know now that legally he's an adult. Anyway, just having a moment and wanted to share it, hope you don't mind."
However, it appears that Junior had the time of his life on his first foreign holiday with his pals after a string of bikini-clad fans begged him for selfies at Ocean Beach.
The budding singer could be seen enjoying himself as he was tagged in multiple pictures and videos from the night.
He beamed in the snaps taken in Wayne Lineker's beach club as he kept cool in a black vest and Calvin Klein shorts.
