Singer Peter Andre has issued an emotional response to the size of his manhood being brought up in the 'Wagatha Christie' court case. Peter, 49, talked at length about Rebekah Vardy's 'chipolata' comparison saying that "this has been going on for 15 years".
On Thursday, May 12, Peter took to Instagram to release a statement when he pointed out: "If a man, or if I had said this about her anatomy, or a man said something about a woman's anatomy, and made up something saying... I dunno, whatever, you can use your imagination, saying something very unflattering, there would be absolute outrage."
Wearing a robe, he also issued an apology to his wife, Emily, and their children. He describes how it isn't uncommon for him to "take the p*** out of myself but maybe [he] felt a bit vulnerable this morning".

He continued: "You know some of you are gonna go, 'oh get over it, don't say anything whatever'. You've got to understand, what's even worse is it's brought up in a High Court, and the lawyer is bringing it up.... and it's brought up again. And the only one that sits there and takes hit after hit about it is me."
The 'Wagatha Christie' case has, so far, taken the media by storm. It is a public battle between Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney and you can read more about that here. During the hearing, reference was made to the fact that in 2004, Vardy famously compared Peter's private parts to that of a "miniature chipolata" in a newspaper interview when she said she had slept with the singer.
Earlier in the week, Vardy told the court that she "deeply regrets" what she said and feared Coleen - Wayne Rooney's wife whom she is suing - would use the comments she made about the Mysterious Girl singer against her. According to Vardy, the reason that she made the comments was due to the fact that she was "forced to by her ex-husband".
The case, itself, started when Rooney publicly accused Vardy of leaking false stories about her private life. It has been one that has sparked a huge reaction on social media. Following Peter's video on Thursday, May 12, fans commented in support for him.
@susehilly simply said: "We love you Pete".
GB News' Nana Akua, meanwhile, called Vardy's comments an "absolute disgrace" and disagreed heavily with the case being brought up again.
At the end of his Instagram video, Peter, who says he has previously seen the "funny side of the story", talked about how he believes thatnothing seems to change when it comes to social media abuse.
