Peter Andre has declared that he is a "proud pops" after sharing a video of his son Junior performing at this first gig in front of a crowd of screaming fans.
The 49-year-old Mysterious Girl singer has been promoting the singing career of Junior, 17, for many months now after the teen showed that he was adept at singing a tune.
Now that Junior has topped the UK iTunes chart with his debut single, Slide, it was time to take the next step and bring that song to a live audience.
Footage of his performance, which Peter shared on Instagram, showed that Junior was full of confidence as dancers flipped on stage, pyrotechnics fired and the crowd sang along, word-for-word.
Peter posted the video on his social media along with a caption celebrating the milestone in Junior's singing career.
He wrote: "So proud of you on your first ever gig son.
"Let’s go go go @officialjunior_andre So much more to come….. @columbiauk @rebelrecs @officialprincess_andre @dr_emily_official @thecangroup #slide #proudpops #musicmanagement "
Peter was not the only one who was impressed with what they saw, as he shared a video posted by a fan who was in the crowd in Sunderland.
The fan captioned the video: “Show: Smashed, Eardrums: Burst, Post-show Maccies: Munched"
Last month, Junior was delighted to discover his single had reached number one on the charts.
He celebrated his debut single, with one photo showing himself standing alongside rapper Big Narstie, 36, at a party in honour of his launch into the music industry.
Junior wore a white T-shirt, pink denim jacket and matching jeans, and sported a gold chain around his neck.
Other photos in the Instagram post saw him interacting with fans at the recent event, with the one clip showing fans dancing along to his newly-released debut single themselves.
Junior wrote in the caption: "The love you guys have shown today has been crazy and you have got Slide in at Number 1 in the iTunes charts! Now we just need to keep it going."
He continued: "Thank you for supporting new artists like me. Without you none of this would be possible."
