Peter Andre was overcome with emotion after finally reuniting with his sick mum for the first time in two years.
The Mysterious Girl singer, 49, expressed his excitement on Instagram as he posted a selfie with beloved Thea.
Peter kissed her cheek and was beaming with joy in the photo - much like his mother.
Their reunion comes just days after he shared that her health is "deteriorating".
Peter wrote alongside the snap: "These last few days with my mum have been the greatest days in many many years. I can't begin to express how I feel to be with her. I'm happy now."
The singer's fans were left over the moon for him as they commented on the post, sharing their happiness.
"Pete so glad you got to see her been long time coming xx" one person penned.
Another shared: "So pleased you have finally got to Australia."
And a third penned: "It's been a long wait for you! Enjoy being together at last! X"
Peter recently shared his concerns about his beloved mum as she gets older. He revealed that her health is getting worse.
Writing in his weekly New magazine column, the singer explained: "I feel great about being a year away from 50. I dreaded turning 40 but actually my forties have been really amazing, I feel relaxed, and in a very happy place career wise and personally.
"The only thing that worries me about turning another year older is that my parents are getting older and my mum's health is really declining, which makes me sad.
"But everything else is going well and I feel great."
Peter, who was born in London and grew up in Australia, has been dreaming of a family reunion ever since the pandemic struck in March 2020.
He has been riddled with concern over his elderly parents who are still in Australia all throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
But the star finally reunited with them after a tough 24 months.
Pete's parents have been unable to travel from Australia due to the fact the government has enforced a strict ban on most international travel.
Opening up about his heartache in his New column last year, Peter insisted that his parents were his "main priority".
"My number one priority this year is to go and see my mum and dad in Australia, as I miss them too much," he penned at the time.
