Pete Doherty did his best imitation of Scots footballer Denis Law on a trip to Aberdeen.
The former Babyshambles and Libertines singer couldn't resist a tour as he prepared for his gig in the Granite City last night.
Pete, 43, found himself at popular tourist attraction Provost Skene's House, where the statue of the Manchester United legend proudly stands.
He tried to copy Denis's famous victory pose as he stood beside the sculpture, which was unveiled by Sir Alex Ferguson last year.
Pete also decided to get poetic as he stood in what appeared to be the River Don and recited Robert Burns' Ye Banks and Braes o' Bonnie Doon.
Luckily Pete, who waded in wearing his pants, didn't have to be rescued like he once did as he travelled from a Scots festival on a rowing boat.
After performing at Live at Loch Lomond in Balloch in 2008, he and five mates set sail for the VIP area, hiring a boat from a local “Para Handy-like figure”.
However, the boat capsized 30 yards from the shore, leaving the “shivering” singer to belt out sea shanties to his pals as they awaited help.

Peter later sat in his luxury tour bus while one of his dogs jumped up by the window to take in the beautiful surroundings.
