Pete Davidson bid farewell to Saturday Night Live (SNL) last night, with the cast member ending his eight year stint on the sketch show with some jokes and a heartfelt goodbye.
It was rumoured earlier this week that the comedian, 28, was preparing to leave the popular NBC series - with him confirming his departure in the latest episode yesterday.
He reflected over his time on the show during the regular 'Weekend Update' alongside Colin Jost, 39 - with it subtitled "Pete Davidson says goodbye for now" in the season finale.
It saw Pete - who's currently dating Kim Kardashian, 41 - make reference to her ex Kanye West, 44, as well as mentioning his own ex Ariana Grande, 28, at one point.
In the opening of the segment on the recent episode - which is the last of the current season - he teased: "[Hello] millions of people only watching to see if I bring up Kanye."
And whilst he didn't name-drop his partner Kim - whom he had worked with on SNL when she hosted the show last year - he did however mention his ex fiancée Ariana.
The former couple are understood to have started dated in May 2018, with the couple engaged within just a few weeks - though it was subsequently called off later that year.
Pete said he called SNL creator and executive producer Lorne Michaels, 77, to share news of the engagement, with him teasing over the response he claimed to have received.
The actor said he called Lorne to say he'd got "engaged to [Ariana] after dating for two weeks," with him quoting his boss as having responded: "Oh, hold on for dear life."
He also referenced the incident at the Oscars which saw fellow SNL alum Chris Rock, 57, get slapped by Will Smith, 53, following a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith, 50.

"On the one hand, I don't like that people think they can just run up on stage and hit a comedian - but on the other, it's how I know all my shows will now be sold out," Pete joked.
And although his farewell featured an array of jokes, Pete concluded the segment with a heartfelt message about his experience on the popular late-night series.
He said that he appreciates SNL "always having [his] back" and allowing him to grow, with him specifically thanking Lorne in the speech, such as for "never giving up" on him.
Pete said the show's creator had never judged him "even when everyone else was," with the departing cast member expressing gratitude for the belief in him.
The comedian concluded by saying: "[Thank you for] allowing me to have a place that I can call home with the memories that will last a lifetime. So thank you guys."
Saturday Night Live airs in the UK on Sky Comedy, with the latest episode set to be broadcast from 9pm tonight.
