The Seattle Seahawks won their preseason opener 24-13 against the Vikings on Thursday. While the world recognizes the fact the first preseason game is ultimately meaningless, there is perhaps someone who does not – head coach Pete Carroll.
To Carroll, every game is an opportunity for a win, and that is more than enough for Seattle’s top man. To the surprise of absolutely no one, Carroll was fired up after the win on Thursday.

Carroll’s fire and passion for winning is legendary. There is no questioning what this man prioritizes when it comes to any semblance of competition. It should encourage 12’s everywhere the soon-to-be 72 year old coach is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down in this regard.
For Carroll, this win is another important one for the resurging Seattle Seahawks.
