Pet cat with habit of stealing drags home sex toy to show owner

A pet moggy left her owner 'feline' embarrassed after she brought home a sex toy from her daily travels. Demo the kleptomaniac cat has made a name for herself around her Gwent village of Caldicot in recent months after developing a penchant for stealing random items from the local vicinity.

A few months ago she hit the headlines after dragging back memorial bouquets left by families at the nearby churchyard in order to gift them to her long suffering owner Rachel Masterman. Prior to that she's appeared at the cat flap with everything in tow from boxer shorts and gloves to kids' hats and Covid face masks.

But this time she turned up with something that left Rachel, a 48-year-old former chef, unsure of where to look. Once she'd finally realised what the item actually was, of course.

"I initially thought it was one of those air freshener things you hang on your car's rear view mirror," she blushed. "But, no, apparently it’s nothing of the sort.

"This trumps anything Demo's fetched home before. I honestly don't know what else to say, other than this cat will probably be the death of me."

Rachel added that Demo wasn't always like this. She was actually a perfectly normal pet until she got hit by a car in 2021 and suffered a nasty head injury.

That brush with death left Rachel with a £700 vet's bill to pay and Demo with an irresistible desire to liberate neighbouring families of their belongings.

Not that anyone is likely to rush forward to claim Demo's latest acquisition as being theirs. "As always, if these belong to you just inbox me on Facebook," said Rachel.

"You'll be treated with the utmost confidentiality, I promise. However, I might not be able to keep a straight face whilst handing these back to their rightful owner."

"Bloody cat," she laughed.
