A pervert told police that he is a 'nonce' after he was caught trying to talk to 13-year-old girls online. Lee Terrell was caught as part of a police sting set up to trap online predators.
The 36-year-old thought he had been talking to 'Izzy' and 'Poppy', both 13, during sick chats on the Kik messaging app but was in fact talking to undercover officers. Terrell used the usernames 'Cheatinghusband' and 'Boywithbigtoy1986' to talk with the accounts between March and June of this year. His profile picture was also of a flaccid penis, a court heard.
Prosecuting, Francis McEntee, told Preston Crown Court: "There can be no doubt he was on the platform for sexual discussions." During the conversations, Terrell, of Rome Avenue, Burnley, asked the ages of the girls he believed he was talking to.

'Izzy' told him she was "13, soz" but that did not deter Terrell from bragging about sexual conquests behind his wife's back, and fetishes he had, LancsLive reports. When 'Poppy' said she was "13, f, Lancs" Terrell asked her "you a sweet girl or a bad one?" and described her as "a nipper".
On June 23, he sent a sexual video to 'Poppy' during an explicit conversation. He was arrested on July 5, 2022, and admitted he was the man behind the profile 'Cheatinghusband1986'.
"He described himself as a nonce during the interview", Mr McEntee said. "He put his behaviour down to the fact he had been having a hard time and had taken excessive drugs over an extended period."
The court heard Terrell had nine previous convictions for offences including assault, harassment and making explosives. However he had no convictions for sexual offences.
Mr McEntee also told the court that on July 7, Terrell assaulted his partner in a rage after she viewed a house without him and refused to get the children up for school - even though it was a Saturday. During the attack he 'ragged' his partner around by her foot and caused bruises to her leg and face. She also had a bruise to her nose, where her piercing was ripped out.
Terrell pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted sexual communication with a child, a count of inciting a child to view a sexual act, and two counts of common assault on his partner.
Neil Cronin, defending, said: "He fully accepts these matters."
Sentencing, Recorder Jonathan Jones KC, said: "Your presentence report recognises that the only sentence that can be passed in this case is one of immediate custody. It expresses a degree of optimism indicating that there would be appropriate courses and treatment so that your sexual activity can be addressed while you are in custody"
He jailed Terrell for 16 months for the sexual offences with a further two months for the assaults on his partner.
