The leader of Perth and Kinross Council has slammed vandalism of Wire Women statues in the city centre – calling the vandalism “heart-breaking”.
Introduced earlier this summer as part of the Year of Stories 2022, the statue trail tells the stories of 20 inspirational women from Perth ’s past.
The statues were created by artist Vanessa Lawrence while community groups across Perth and Kinross have worked with artists to tell their stories.
