Argentinian Juan Lescano has scored a brace to power Brisbane Roar to a 4-1 win over a hapless Perth Glory at HBF Park.

Lescano struck either side of halftime in Saturday night's match before James O'Shea and Luke Ivanovic added late goals to secure a second straight win for the Roar and keep their faint finals hopes alive.

Adding to Glory's woes was a straight red card to substitute Mitchell Oxborrow for a dangerous tackle in the final play of the match.

The heavy loss left Glory firmly stuck on the bottom of the ladder following a crippling seven-match winless run.

Glory's last win came on February 20 when they beat the Roar 2-0, and they have now posted three losses and a draw from four matches since returning to Perth.

Star striker Bruno Fornaroli will be unavailable for several games while on Socceroos duty, and Oxborrow is facing a ban of at least one match.

Brisbane dominated for long periods of the match and deserved to come away with the big win.

The Roar had a goal disallowed in the 13th minute when Kai Trewin put the ball in from an offside position.

Glory goalkeeper Brad Jones reacted quickly to tip Louis Zabala's powerful strike over the bar in the 39th minute.

But there was nothing he could do to keep out Lescano's glancing header six minutes later after O'Shea whipped the ball into the box.

Roar kept Fornaroli quiet in the first half, and the trend continued after the break.

Perth had a goal disallowed in the 55th minute when Pacifique Niyongabire was flagged for offside in the lead-up.

Lescano added a second via an easy tap-in after Ryo Wada's blocked shot made its way to the Argentinian at the far post.

Glory debutant Joshua Anasmo was introduced in the 63rd minute and immediately gave the team a much-needed spark.

But it was game over when Glory defender Darryl Lachman tripped up Jez Lofthouse in the box and O'Shea buried the penalty.

Roar substitute Ivanovic produced a dazzling run into the box in the 89th minute to make it 4-0, before Daniel Stynes pulled one back for Glory in injury time with a stunning volley.
