A person has been taken to hospital following a crash on Trent Bridge in Nottingham tonight (Sunday, March 12). The collision happened at around 9pm.
Nottinghamshire Police said the crash is believed to have involved one vehicle. One person was injured, the force said, but their injuries were not understood to be life-threatening.
The vehicle needed to be recovered from the bridge, police added. At shortly before 9.15pm Nottingham City Transport said Trent Bridge had been closed and buses were delayed.

"South Notts 1 and Green 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 are diverting via Cattle Market Road, Meadow Lane and Lady Bay Bridge in both directions. There are delays on all these services," said the transport company.
At around 10.30pm Nottingham City Transport said the bridge had reopened. "Trent Bridge has reopened, with South Notts 1 and Green Line buses back to their normal route. Delays will be in place for the remainder of the evening," it said.
