A person has been taken to hospital after a "serious" flat fire last night.
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service (MFRS) were called to Belvidere Road, Toxteth, at 8.25pm on Friday, December 23. Three fire engines arrived three minutes later to find a casualty in a ground floor flat of the three-storey property.
The person was given treatment at the scene by MFRS crews and paramedics from North West Ambulance Service. Merseyside Police were also called to the scene.
