A person had to be freed from their car following a crash in Weston-super-Mare.
Firefighters were called to the crash on Ellenborough Park at 12.35pm on Thursday (April 21). On arrival, crews found a person trapped inside a small vehicle.
In a statement, Avon Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews from Weston and Winscombe were called to reports of a person trapped in a small vehicle following a road traffic collision at 12:35.

"On arrival, crews found one casualty trapped inside a small vehicle. With hydraulic cutters in use, crews rescued the casualty, freeing their trapped foot.
"Crews remained at the scene for a time to await the arrival ambulance colleagues."
