A person has been arrested after the body of man was found in an Aberdeen high rise flat earlier today.
Police were called to Marischal Court in the Castlegate area of the city at 1.20am this morning. Officers attended and a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the circumstances surrounding the man's death are being investigated. The Record understands a person has been arrested.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.20am on Monday, 26 June, 2023, we received a report of the body of a man found within a property in Marischal Court, Aberdeen. Officers attended and a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The circumstances around the death are being investigated.”
