Nicki Minaj has found herself at the centre of a new political storm after celebrity blogger Perez Hilton questioned her motives for appearing at Turning Point USA's AmericaFest.

The criticism followed Minaj's surprise onstage conversation with TPUSA chief executive Erika Kirk in Phoenix, Arizona, in December 2025.
