Pep Guardiola ignored Arsenal's Premier League challenge on Friday as he declared that Liverpool will still be Manchester City's main title rivals this season.
The Merseysiders trail City by 13 points ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash between the two sides at Anfield on Sunday, after Jurgen Klopp’s men were pipped to the title by just a point last season.
But Guardiola's unbeaten side don't currently stand atop the table, with his former No.2, Mikel Arteta, having led Arsenal to nine wins in 10 games, a run which has seen the Gunners sit two points clear. Nevertheless, Guardiola does not think the Reds’ present position of 10th reflects their ability and is predicting they''ll soon be back in the title mix.
