Pep Guardiola has warned Manchester City's rivals that Erling Haaland will not take long to settle in the Premier League.
The Blues have reached an agreement over a stunning £51m deal for the Dortmund sensation, who will join the club in time for next season. Haaland will add to an embarrassment of riches for Guardiola, whose team are three points closer to the Premier League after smashing Wolves 5-1 and could yet reach 100 goals for the campaign.
Guardiola will not place responsibility on Haaland to score goals for his new club because he wants the rest of the team to continue to contribute. However, the City manager did say that every effort will be made both to help the player adapt to life in Manchester and to give him opportunities to score.
